Club General Meeting

Resignation: Mr. Dibyatam Adhikari resigned as President and member. Meetings & Attendance: Two meetings to be held monthly. ₹200 fine for absence; members above 70 years exempt. Interim President: Mr. Noel Chhettri was proposed by Mr. Chetan Tewari and unanimously accepted. Breakfast Meetings: Proposed by Rotarian Chetan Tiwari to support senior members. Project Ideas: By Mr. Binoy Jain: • Adopt a small village (e.g., Fazi) for medical and support activities. • Monthly “Know Your Health” camp at Kurseong Station (BP, sugar, weight, BMR checks). Camp Volunteers: 1st – Mr. Shamim Ali 2nd – Mr. Bobby Chachan 3rd – Mr. Binoy Jain 4th – Mr. Chetan Tewari By Mr. Sanjeev Pradhan: E-waste management project with revenue potential. By Mr. Bikram Pradhan: Install a Kurseong map with Rotary logo on the AT building near the station.

Installtion of New board 25-26.

The Rotary Club of Kurseong proudly hosted the installation ceremony for its new Board for the Rotary year 2025–2026 on 5th July 2025 at Cochrane Place, Kurseong. In a warm and joyous gathering attended by club members and their spouses, Rtn. Diubyattam Adhikari was formally installed as President, Rtn. Prashant Pradhan took office as Secretary, and Rtn. Shamim Ali was appointed as Treasurer. The evening was marked by camaraderie, commitment to service, and shared visions for a fruitful Rotary year ahead. The club looks forward to continuing its service to the community under the leadership of the new board.
